We are New York City delivery workers. Unsung heroes without labor rights, yet we keep working hard, getting your essentials delivered to your doorstep every day, year round, rain or shine. We are also essential to our city’s COVID19 recovery efforts, without us, grocery, food, and beverage industries cannot meet the needs of more than 8 million New Yorkers.
This is an important moment in time. We have fought hard and have made great strides, including forming a large membership based collective of app-based delivery workers and the passing of a landmark legislation package in NYC that would establish a minimum standard of working conditions in the delivery industry.
Supporters like you have heard and responded to our need to be treated with dignity and respect. Our fight is far from over! We need your support to ensure that our organizing efforts continue.
Your tax-deductible contribution will help us provide Personal Protective Equipment, bike tune-ups, leadership trainings, and so much more!
We, Los Deliveristas Unidos (LDU) are a collective of app-based delivery workers that are organizing and fighting for better work conditions in NYC's gig economy. LDU spawned from the Worker's Justice Project and aims to win essential rights for app-based delivery workers, who are playing a key role in NYC's recovery.
