As workers actively challenge exploitative employer practices and build collective power, the National Employment Law Project (NELP) has their back. We are proud of the multifaceted role we play as a partner, advocate, connector, and thought leader.
We are inspired by the unprecedented levels of worker-led organizing and strikes across the country, which have further amplified the importance and urgency of creating a good jobs economy built with Black and immigrant worker power.
NELP has made incredible progress in our advocacy for just wages, benefits, job conditions, and worker protections, as detailed in our 2022 & 2023 Impact Report. We testified before Congress about the harms of misclassifying workers, launched an Unemployment Insurance Policy Hub, advocated for deferred action protections for immigrant workers, and expanded our capacity building with Black worker centers in the South.
There is still so much more work to do. Join us in this fight by donating to NELP, as we transform policies, strengthen worker power, and advance solutions to achieve worker justice.
