The Latinx Therapists Action Network (LTAN) is a healing justice network of Latinx/e, Latino, Latina, mental health practitioners, community health workers, activists, and organizers who are committed to interrupting the generational trauma caused by the U.S. carceral state and its immigration apparatus.  


We acknowledge that migrant communities have suffered over three decades of mandatory detention, militarization of the Southern border, as well as the systematic, homophobic, sexists, ableist, and racist collusion of local law enforcement across the country with Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement. 


We believe that healing justice is as much about our right to well-being as it is about building power. 


The Community Care Fund is a continuation of this concerted effort to create sustainability for the caretaking of our communities through healing traditions and collective practices that can impact and transform the consequences of oppression on our bodies, hearts, minds, and spirits. The CCF will support people organizing on the frontlines of the migrant justice movement. This fund offers financial access to emotional support for organizations leading powerful work to close detention centers and reunite families separated by ICE. These resources will directly facilitate healing justice tools and emotional support sessions for migrant justice organizers and community leaders. 

 

Contribution rules

  1. This contribution is made from my own funds or the funds of an authorizing corporation or other entity, and the funds are not being provided by any other person or entity.
