Freedom to Teach Truth is POWER Spring Meeting and Fundraiser

Join us on April 29th at 6pm at the Busby Community Center (1735 Busby Street Columbia, SC 29203) for an exciting evening of celebration and fellowship ahead of the local 2023 elections and in preparation for 2024 when #WeGoFirst.

It is very simple: Freedom to teach truth is power. Republicans understand the liberatory capacity of education and have been trying with all their might to dismantle it brick by brick. We are the firewall that protects what is most dear, our children and grandchildren’s future.

As community members we understand the importance of being able to teach accurate and truthful information to the next generation, free from political interference or pressure. Our fundraiser will raise awareness and support for candidates and lawmakers in this critical fight.

Throughout the event we will hear from individuals who are committed to protecting academic freedom.

You will also have the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who are passionate about defending the integrity of our public education system.

All proceeds from the event will go directly toward party efforts to support lawmakers and candidates who will fight to protect academic freedom and the right to teach the truth in our schools. By attending our event you'll be making a tangible difference in the community for students and educators across this state.
