If you've been following events, you know how serious things are getting. I want to reach out to give you an update on what we are doing as your Democratic Party leadership and ask for help raising the funds to build resilience in our communities. Please consider a contribution of $10, $25, or $50 a month to help support these community organizing efforts.
This year, we have been working hard to build the systems to make outreach easier and more effective. We have monthly meetings every first Saturday for the community to hear what we are working on and ask questions. We've consolidated our data and information into one system that can be used for all candidates running in the county. We've also been bringing people together in precincts and districts to build better connections when it's time to knock doors, with monthly meetings in different districts to bring people together.
But the year is coming to a close and we've seen more damage than anyone could have imagined to our communities from Republicans at the state and national level. We need to move quickly to improve neighborhood outreach, both to build for the coming elections and to make sure people have the community connections to get help this winter.
